About The Words They UseA warning about the words being used today! Almond milk, non animal sourced meat, veggie meat are just a few of these being used differently than we are used to hearing. All my life milk has been used to mean liquid we drink that comes from dairy cows. Meat has meant flesh from animals like cows, pigs and sheep. A burger and fries meant a ground beef patty and french fried potatoes. Today it may be a veggie burger or soy burger. A new name Veggie Chik'n Nuggets. I do not have a problem with the creation or consumption of these products but the manufacturer of these new products know they must represent them with names that can be confused with the standard products we have known for so long. While they are not wrong in using these terms they know they are representing them as similar products. They are not equal in nutrition to the old standard foods we have grown up with. Why don't they come up with new terms for their new products. I will be adding my contact information on every page. |

We would like to give you a little advice about searching the Internet for agriculture information. When you visit a website for the first time check out the contact information for the site. A red flag should pop up when there is no clear contact information offered on the site. If it is from a foreign country beware. Many countries are sources of clone websites that have tracking software built into the ads on the site. China is the country for this. Do not click on any pop up windows or an ad on these sites or ads that does not show the direct website address it is taking you to. I will be adding my contact information on every page. |
