Gardening For Kids and Adults Too!

There is something special about getting your hands dirty and watching plants grow!

Updated 3-13-2023

A flower pot is a garden.

You do not need a whole lot of ground to have a garden. A flower pot, a few seeds, and some soil make a great garden for someone with just a little bit of area. Even in the winter your mini garden can grow. Watch as the seeds sprout and finally a flower blooms. Set your garden outside and you might be surprised when a butterfly or honey bee stops for some nectar.

Parents Garden with your kids!

The time you spend together in the garden will bring you closer. They learn that there is nothing wrong to do work that gets the hands dirty. You can teach them responsibility. They can learn that there is a right way and wrong way to do things. Then they can enjoy the benefit of their labor when they harvest and eat the home grown vegetables or smell the aroma the flowers.
