Green EnergyWhat You Are Not Told About Green Energy |
First I want to make something clear I am not against producing electricity with wind turbines and solar panels. I have been a proponent of solar energy for a long time and I also think we have been too slow in developing this source of energy. I have seen it used on roofs of farm buildings and used to power miles of electric fence around pastures. Wind mills have been used for hundreds of years to pump water and to rum machines. I knew of a wind mill used to run a generator to charge batteries for electric fence. |
All the liberal media reports is what supports the building of huge solar "farms" and wind "farms". Have they ever reported the amount of food production lost every time one of these "green farms" is built? First why do they call them farms? Because they want to deceive you! Everyone thinks of a farm as where food is grown. Farms are considered as good places that benefit society and are needed to feed the world. That is be everyone except the radical environmentalists who are obsessed with the "Green Energy" agenda. These are the same people who are the most vocal about feeding a hungry world. What Hypocrites! |
In the United States of America there has been thousands of acres of farm land taken out of production for solar and wind farms. Look at what is lost when a 1000 acres of farm land is taken out of production. 170,000 bushels of corn or 60,000 bushels of soy beans or 100,000 dozen ears of sweet corn Millions of pounds green beans or tomatoes or potatoes |
So while I believe solar and wind power are viable sources of electricity I do not believe one acre of productive farm land should be for this purpose. The choice should never have to be food production or electricity. |

NO LAND = NO FOOD |
